System Settings holds the setup that every other module depends on: who can sign in, what each person may do, which accounts they can work with and the shared master data. Everyone uses Signing in. The other pages are mostly for administrators.
If you cannot sign in, are signed out while you work or cannot open a page, go to Sign-in and access problems. It links each problem to the page where it is fixed.

2 Setting up access for a new person
Do these in order. Each page explains its step.
Create the account on Members, with a role and a password.
Check that the role has the page ticks the person needs on Roles.
If your company limits sign-in by place, link the person to an office on Access Locations.
If your company limits sign-in by time, link the office to a shift on Access Shifts.
If the person works with customers or suppliers they do not own, use User Assignment.
Ask the person to sign in once and open their pages. If something fails, use Sign-in and access problems.
